According to the basf announced Ultramid A3U42G6 (polyamide) is a new type of flame retardant and glass fiber reinforced polyamide (PA), has been included in the basf plastic series.

The product can be minor coloring, less sediment, low corrosion and easy operation. So can enhance the plasticizing unit and the durability of the injection mould, and reduce production disruptions caused by maintenance frequency.

New material conform to the requirements of the UL standard 94, achieve V flame retardant grade 0, 0.4 mm thick. In addition, the thermal aging resistance greatly ascend, also known as the glass fiber filled polyamide grades. New Ultramid A3U42G6 especially for high temperature environment to work, because the insulation strength (746 b) UL RTI (relative humidity index) up to 140 degrees Celsius (0.4 mm thick), or even 150 degrees Celsius (0.75 mm thick or above).
